Pulsation is created by the peristaltic pump functioning principle. The rubber hose in the pulsation dampener adapts its volume to compensate pulsation and provide a smooth flow to the discharge line.
The Albin Pump ALHP inline pulsation dampener will reduce vibration and water hammer in your piping, thereby increasing the hose life.
This is achieved by means of a thick-walled, reinforced rubber hose, which is mounted in a carbon steel, cylindrical pressure vessel. The hose is surrounded by compressed air (nitrogen when ATEX equipped).
The Albin Pump ALHP inline pulsation dampener can cut up to 90% of the pulsation created by the pump.
ALHP pulsation dampeners are available in four sizes to cover ALH pumps from ALH25 to ALH125.
Albin Pump inline pulsation dampeners are easy to install and easy to use. These top performing products offer:
*In case of installation in a hazardous area, the dampener must be filled with nitrogen.

Albin Pump has developed and patented a revolutionary AODD pump.
The AODD is a compact diaphragm pump that is able to be mounted in any orientation, to fit in the tightest spaces.
Critical components can be quickly accessed while still connected in-line, reducing downtime. The improved valve design has resulted in a reduction in sound during operation.
The Albin AD pump is designed for a large capacity and long service life. Compared to traditional AODD pumps, it offers 70% lower pulsation, 30-50 % lower air consumption, noise reduction and 3–5 times longer operation time between service intervals.
The compact outer measurements and capability to install the pump upside down, sideways or vertically means flexibility during installation and set up.What’s more, it is designed so that all vital parts are easily accessible without having to remove the pump from the pipe system, greatly minimizing downtime.
All of these improvements result in lower operational costs, reduced cost for spare parts and improved overall economy.

The ALX150 pump provides one of the highest peristaltic pump flow rates in the world, up to 150 m3/h (660.4 GPM).
The Albin Pump ALX Series peristaltic pump provides two additional benefits from standard hose pumps: a lower speed to achieve a given flow rate and rotating rollers for soft hose compression. These two features greatly increase hose life and reduce power consumption.
After years of development, the ALX150 hose pump was introduced for applications ranging from sea tanker overloading to transferring high-solids thickener underflow slurry, where fast and reliable offloading is key to process profitability.
Our pump uses soft action rotating rollers to compress the hose instead of hard fixed shoes that are standard on other industrial hose pumps. The advantage of our rollers is the gentle compression of the hose, losing very little power from surface friction. The soft rollers reduce power consumption dramatically which contributes to longer-life. The pump can be ran at lower speeds and still deliver up to 150 m3/h (660.4 GPM) with excellent hose life due to 83.33 liters per revolution.
Typical applications for the ALX pump include:

ALH is our flagship peristaltic pump, built for high pressure applications up to 15 bar, with 16 sizes ranging up to 88 m3/h (387 gpm).
We have combined the best available materials with smart design solutions in order to maximize running time and minimize maintenance. This pump summarizes what we at Albin Pump want to achieve: better Pump Solutions for our customers. Our design enhances the pump’s simplicity and robust principle.
Two shoes mounted at 180° on a rotating wheel compress successively a reinforced rubber hose that contains a fluid to be pumped.
The compression of the hose by the rotating shoes creates continuous suction at the inlet of the pump and pushes the fluid to the outlet of the pump.
The pump casing contains a lubricant that reduces friction and insures the best pump performance with a minimum of maintenance.
The pumped liquid is in contact with only the interior of the rubber hose, thus permitting the pumping of a wide variety of reactive fluids.

MADE FOR EXTREMES
Powerful under extreme conditions: the BTEX hopper pumps SEEPEX are robustly built and designed with reinforced individual components for tough applications – e.g. for fermentation products in the agriculture and biogas industries. They are designed to allow contaminants to settle at the base of the hopper and be removed quickly and easily through large inspection openings for maximum availability and time savings during servicing work.
The rectangular cross section of the hopper design allows contaminants to be separated at the bottom of the hopper
Easy removal of contaminants through large inspection openings in the hopper and compression zone
Through regular, simple removal of contaminants
Quick and simple maintenance thanks to the sliding compression casing
The joints installed in the pump are exclusively universal joints – for very rapid replacement during servicing
Simple cleaning or infeed of liquids via integrated flange opening in the hopper
PERFECT FOR ANY SILO
Made for silos: With their long hoppers, BTES hopper pumps from SEEPEX are ideal for installation under a silo. The construction of the rectangular hopper can then be optimally adapted to a wide variety of silo discharge systems. The pumps are ideal for pumping e.g. dewatered sewage sludge to drying or combustion plants. In order to ensure that the silo does not need to be fully emptied before maintenance, the pump is fitted with a closure system behind the hopper – this saves time and money.
Structural optimization of the hopper for a perfect fit under the respective silo
Thanks to integrated closure system in the pump that keeps out non-flowable, semi-solid media, the pump can be maintained wihtout silo emptying
Maintenance time reduced many times over by eliminating the time-consuming silo emptying process
Quick and simple maintenance thanks to the easy dismantling of the compression casing
Thanks to the shallow design of the hopper
Conveyance of the optimal flow rate to the downstream rotating unit by compressing the medium in the compression zone
PERPETUAL MOTION
No stoppages, no bridging: to ensure the feed medium can be optimally pumped at all times, there is a bridge breaker above the screw conveyor in the rectangular hopper of the BTEI hopper pump from SEEPEX. The separately driven rotating paddle keeps the medium in constant motion, thus avoiding the formation of bridges. A further benefit of the range: in order to save space in the processing system, a closed buffer tank can optionally be connected. A separate reservoir is therefore not required.
The optional integrated buffer tank replaces the separate reservoir tank saving space in the processing system
Thanks to the bridge breaker, which consists of a rotating paddle shaft, the medium is in constant motion
Feed flow to the screw conveyor is guaranteed, even for highly viscous products, thanks to bridge breaker
Flexible adjustment of speed thanks to separate drive system for bridge breaker – irrespective of pump speed
Optional: Installation of various sensors for processing monitoring, e.g. for checking filling level
REALLY WELL MIXED
When media are inclined to bridging, smooth product delivery to the conveying elements cannot always be assured. The BTI hopper pumps from SEEPEX provides a solution. The rectangular hopper contains two counter-running paddle shafts equipped with their own drive system. These mix highly viscous media so thoroughly that bridging cannot even begin to take place – ensuring optimal delivery of the medium to the pump at all times.
Thanks to the bridge breaker consisting of two counter-rotating paddle shafts, which keep the medium in constant motion
Feed flow to the screw conveyor is guaranteed, even for highly viscous products, thanks to bridge breaker
Flexible adjustment of speed thanks to separate drive system for bridge breaker – irrespective of pump speed
Quick and simple maintenance thanks to the easy dismantling of the compression casing
FROM HIGHLY VISCOUS TO SEMI-SOLID
BTVE hopper pumps from SEEPEX provide the ability to transport dewatered sludge with a dry matter content of up to 30%. A large, rectangular intake hopper with screw conveyor allows them to easily be fed with highly viscous and semi-solid products with no tendency towards bridging. A roller-mounted sliding compression casing further simplifies dismantling, thus allowing the cleaning and maintenance of the rotating unit.
Simplified access to joint and rotor thanks to roller-mounted sliding compression casing
Fast and powerful cleaning of all parts in the hopper via flange connections mounted directly on the intake hopper
Length of rectangular intake hopper adjustable to upstream components
Optimal conveyance of the product to the downstream rotating unit via a screw conveyor installed in the hopper with a large diameter and long pitch
Available in block design with directly flanged-on drive system, or as a variant with free bare shaft and plug connection
BIG ON PUMPING
The BTHE hopper pump is characterized by vertical hopper walls and a large-diameter ribbon screw in the hopper. In contrast to the BTH, the ribbon screw and the rotating unit are controlled by only one drive unit. Thanks to the large screw diameter, even media that tend to bridge can be conveyed without any problems. The pump can optionally be equipped with Drive Joint Access.
Thanks to the centrally oriented, edge-to-edge ribbon screw with a large diameter and elongated pitch
Thanks to the very large screw conveyor, even for products with little or no flowability
Conveyance of the optimal flow rate to the downstream rotating unit by compressing the medium in the compression zone
Simple dismantling of the compression casing for servicing work and optional Drive Joint Access for simple access to the drive-side joint
Available in block design with directly flanged-on drive system, or as a variant with free bare shaft and plug connection
SIMULTANEOUSLY FAST AND SLOW
Always the right speed: Because the ribbon screw of the BTH hopper pump from SEEPEX has its own separate second drive system, it can be operated at a different speed from the rotating unit. Thanks to the large diameter and elongated pitch of the edge-to-edge ribbon screw, even media that tend to bridge can be conveyed without any problems.
The speed is always optimally adjusted to the medium thanks to the separately driven ribbon screw in the hopper, which is operated at a different speed
The centrally oriented, edge-to-edge ribbon screw has a large diameter and elongated pitch, ensuring no bridging takes place with highly viscous or semi-solid media
Conveyance of the optimal flow rate to the downstream rotating unit by compressing the medium in the compression zone
Quick and simple maintenance thanks to the easy dismantling of the compression casing
Thanks to the low speed of the screw conveyor and rotating unit when transporting media that is sensitive to shearing
Available in block design with directly flanged-on drive system, or as a variant with free bare shaft and plug connection
RECTANGULAR, PRACTICAL – A PERFECT FIT
Rectangular upstream process systems require perfectly fitted hopper solutions. With its large rectangular hopper, the BTQ hopper pump from SEEPEX can easily be installed e.g. under thickeners in wastewater treatment plants. A screw conveyor on the coupling rod supports onward transport into the rotating unit. Alternatively, the coupling rod can also be fitted with mixing blades. As the dimensions of the BTQ hopper pump and the BN standard pump are identical, they are readily interchangeable.
Easy accessibility to the coupling rod and hopper through inspection ports mounted on the sides of the hopper
Optimal conveyance to the rotating unit by a very short screw conveyor installed on the coupling rod in the hopper – with optional mixing blades
Available in block design with directly flanged-on drive system, or as a variant with free bare shaft and plug connection
Can be upgraded with a retrofit kit to use the particularly easy-to-maintain Smart Conveying Technology (SCT)
BIG ON MAKING THINGS SMALL
Externally extended compression casing fitted with internal cutting elements: the BTM hopper pump from SEEPEX can be used to prepare e.g. fruit and vegetables for smooth onward transportation. The integrated cutting unit and additional blades in the screw conveyor shred a wide range of solids, thus making them flowable.
Particularly fine maceration of large pieces by two integrated blade systems – making even the coarsest chunks flowable
No oxidation when installed in a closed system – the food therefore retains its quality and odors are minimized
Conveyance of the optimal flow rate to the downstream rotating unit by compressing the medium in the compression zone
Length of rectangular intake hopper adjustable to upstream components
Available in block design with directly flanged-on drive system, or as a variant with free bare shaft and plug connection
THE UNIVERSAL GENIUS

The valves are made up of a valve body and a cylindrical sleeve reinforced with natural or synthetic rubber. Typically in an open state, the valve is closed by the application of pressure between the valve body and the sleeve. This pressure is created by a fluid, usually compressed air, that crushes the sleeve in a particular direction, completely closing the valve.
Available in cast iron, aluminum and PVC materials, we offer a complete range of full-bore valves suitable for a range of applications:
The 2-port design allows each valve to be used both as a pressure relief and back pressure valve to ensure accurate metering and pump performance.
Available in a range of materials, pressure adjustability for 0 to 150 psi, and various connection options, these valves enable installation fit and flexibility for your operations. An optional port enables the use of a standard pressure gauge to see the results of field adjustments.

There is a lot of exciting stuff going on in the stars above us that make astronomy so much fun. The truth is the universe is a constantly changing, moving, some would say “living” thing because you just never know what you are going to see on any given night of stargazing.
But of the many celestial phenomenons, there is probably none as exciting as that time you see your first asteroid on the move in the heavens.
mROY® series model XW metering pump is controlled-volume, hydraulically-actuated diaphragm pump that is designed for consistent chemical delivery. Its compact design contains a plunger that reciprocates at a fixed stroke, displacing a fixed volume of hydraulic fluid and thereby actuating a flexible, chemically inert PTFE diaphragm to create the pumping action. Designed to meet global industry standards, model XW provides accurate dosing of a broad spectrum of fluids. Like all mROY® metering pumps, model XW is built to run continually all year long leading to decades of consistent performance.
