AD Air Operated Diaphragm Pump

Albin Pump has developed and patented a revolutionary AODD pump.

The AODD is a compact diaphragm pump that is able to be mounted in any orientation, to fit in the tightest spaces.

Critical components can be quickly accessed while still connected in-line, reducing downtime. The improved valve design has resulted in a reduction in sound during operation.

The Albin AD pump is designed for a large capacity and long service life. Compared to traditional AODD pumps, it offers 70% lower pulsation, 30-50 % lower air consumption, noise reduction and 3–5 times longer operation time between service intervals.

The compact outer measurements and capability to install the pump upside down, sideways or vertically means flexibility during installation and set up.What’s more, it is designed so that all vital parts are easily accessible without having to remove the pump from the pipe system, greatly minimizing downtime.

ALX High Volume Hose Pump

The ALX150 pump provides one of the highest peristaltic pump flow rates in the world, up to 150 m3/h (660.4 GPM).

The Albin Pump ALX Series peristaltic pump provides two additional benefits from standard hose pumps: a lower speed to achieve a given flow rate and rotating rollers for soft hose compression. These two features greatly increase hose life and reduce power consumption.

After years of development, the ALX150 hose pump was introduced for applications ranging from sea tanker overloading to transferring high-solids thickener underflow slurry, where fast and reliable offloading is key to process profitability.

Our pump uses soft action rotating rollers to compress the hose instead of hard fixed shoes that are standard on other industrial hose pumps. The advantage of our rollers is the gentle compression of the hose, losing very little power from surface friction. The soft rollers reduce power consumption dramatically which contributes to longer-life. The pump can be ran at lower speeds and still deliver up to 150 m3/h (660.4 GPM) with excellent hose life due to 83.33 liters per revolution.

Two shoes mounted at 180° on a rotating wheel compress successively a reinforced rubber hose that contains a fluid to be pumped.
The compression of the hose by the rotating shoes creates continuous suction at the inlet of the pump and pushes the fluid to the outlet of the pump.

Valves and Accessories for Dosing Processes

Milton Roy offers a complete line of accessories designed to make even the most demanding dosing processes work smoothly. Pressure relief valves, backpressure valves, and pulsation dampeners are just a few of the items available to meet the needs of your process.

Pinch valves control the flow of fluids (liquid, gas or power) and provide a leak-proof seal when closed. They are cost-effective, simple to install and require little maintenance.

The valves are made up of a valve body and a cylindrical sleeve reinforced with natural or synthetic rubber. Typically in an open state, the valve is closed by the application of pressure between the valve body and the sleeve. This pressure is created by a fluid, usually compressed air,that crushes the sleeve in a particular direction, completely closing the valve.

Available in cast iron, aluminum and PVC materials, we offer a complete range of full-bore valves suitable for a range of applications:

The “MRV” series back pressure and pressure relief valves help to maintain a set pressure or relieve excess pressure on the pump and system.

The 2-port design allows each valve to be used both as a pressure relief and back pressure valve to ensure accurate metering and pump performance.

Available in a range of materials, pressure adjustability for 0 to 150 psi, and various connection options, these valves enable installation fit and flexibility for your operations. An optional port enables the use of a standard pressure gauge to see the results of field adjustments.

Calibration columns are a fast, easy, economical means of checking flow rates of your Milton Roy metering pumps.

The devices perform periodic monitoring and verification of the pump flow rate to ensure optimal performance and injection accuracy. In addition, they can be used to verify pump capacity after routine maintenance. Available in six sizes, the units are easily installed and are a great addition for prime pump performance.

Pulsation dampeners are pressure vessels that control pressure fluctuations and spikes in liquid piping systems.

They contain a flexible bladder that separates an inert pressurized gas (air or nitrogen) from a system fluid in the lower chamber. Available in a range of chemically resistant materials, pulsation dampeners remove virtually all hydraulic shock, enhancing all-around performance and reliability of fluid flow in industrial and chemical transfer applications.

Typically, large storage tanks require the constant mixing of contents, but roof-mounted agitators cannot support the heavy load. In response, Milton Roy Mixing has developed a specific range of side-entry mixers for large-volume storage tanks.

Our side-entry mixer is mounted quickly and easily to the tank flange and delivers the most effective blending results in an extremely efficient unit. Our innovative small diameter SABRE® impeller allows for reduced energy consumption and easy installation.

In addition, we can ensure proper agitation using numerical simulation of fluid flows (CFD). This helps to forecast and predict the storage tanks mixing with no dead zone, and lower energy consumption compared to conventional solutions. We can also provide an adjustable agitator to increase the scope enclosure.

The side-entry mixer concept is driven by four top priorities: safety, reliability, process optimization and easy, cost-effective maintenance.

Large mixing volumes. The mixer is designed for tanks up to 200,000 m³ (1.3 MM barrels). The high liquid jet amplitude propelled by our impeller allows the moving of large volumes using less power.
Easy installation and maintenance. This compact, side-entry mixer has been designed specifically to mount on the lateral flange of the tank and with lightweight, custom impellers, it can installed quickly and easily. Its exclusive seal shut off device allows for safe, fast and easy maintenance or replacement of the mechanical seal without emptying the tank.

The PRIMEROYAL® PP metering pumps are versatile, reliable pumps that consistently and accurately inject chemicals. mRoy MRB Series

The mROY® series model B metering pump is controlled-volume, hydraulically-actuated diaphragm pump that is designed for consistent chemical delivery. Its compact design contains a plunger that reciprocates at a fixed stroke, displacing a fixed volume of hydraulic fluid and thereby actuating a flexible, chemically inert PTFE diaphragm to create the pumping action. Designed to meet global industry standards, model B provides accurate dosing of a broad spectrum of fluids. Like all mROY® metering pumps, model B is built to run continually all year long with preventative maintenance, leading to decades of consistent performance.

Hydraulically balanced PTFE diaphragm, designed for 96,000 hours operating life, does not use seals and eliminates plunger packing maintenance.
